Keep useful abilities after death without carrying special items.
68.2 of the 71 points that apply = 96 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Everlasting Abilities lets players gain lasting abilities without relying on particular potions, armor, or tools, and those abilities remain after death. A random ability bottle is given when a player first spawns; right-clicking it opens a window for transferring abilities to or from the player, with experience spent to equip them and refunded when they are returned to the bottle. Its abilities cover movement and utility, such as flight, step assist, item magnetism, and faster block interaction, as well as combat and survival effects including strength, regeneration, resistance, and underwater breathing. Other abilities affect nearby entities, applying effects such as slowness, poison, blindness, or levitation, while some trigger special outcomes on death, including spawning wind charges, cobwebs, slimes, or silverfish. Abilities have level caps, and players can find random ability totems in loot chests or obtain abilities from certain mobs, whose particle colors indicate the ability's rarity. In player-versus-player deaths, the defeated player normally loses a random ability in a totem that the victor can collect, though this behavior can be changed in the configuration. Three leftover totems can be recycled into a new random totem, with the input rarities influencing the result, and datapacks can customize existing abilities or add new ones.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 items: Ability Bottle and Ability Totem; 4 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
Claude Code and GitHub Copilot are named in the files of its repository.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

1,704 modpacks include Everlasting Abilities in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Everlasting Abilities. Share: how many of the modpacks with Everlasting Abilities also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
