Explosions shake the ground with booming sounds, sparks, and fire.

This author published several projects at once on Modrinth: up to 6 projects published within 2 weeks. 3 of the author's 7 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
Explosion Overhaul replaces Minecraft’s standard explosion presentation with a more dynamic system of sound, visuals, and physical effects. Explosion audio varies with blast strength, distance, and surroundings: a cave amplifies the sound, a house muffles an explosion outside, and sound arrives after the flash, with seven power tiers and variations spanning distances up to five kilometers. Explosions expand into fireballs that cool into thick smoke, scattering bright and electrical sparks alongside dust, mist, and power-scaled flashes. Blasts can shake the camera, push players in enclosed spaces, and leave craters ringed with displaced earth and debris; underground detonations may drop dust, rocks, and dripstone, while glass breaks and nearby Redstone lamps flicker. Nearby explosives can cluster into a stronger detonation, and the staged concussion system can cause muffled hearing, tinnitus, blurred or unsteady vision, and a stress-reactive heartbeat, with effects shaped by the blast and surroundings. The mod also integrates explosions from TaCZ weapons and vehicles, supports most SuperB Warfare explosions, and handles basic Big Cannons projectile blasts.

Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code and assets
The author declares AI code and assets on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
