    About

    Fairytale Origins is an Origins addon that lets players take on storybook races inspired by familiar fairy-tale characters, each with distinctive abilities and drawbacks. Its choices include Red Riding Hood, with axe skill, forest stealth, and wolf detection; the Big Bad Wolf, with night vision, speed, and a breath attack; and the Little Mermaid, with water mastery, a siren’s call, and enhanced underwater combat. The Minotaur combines strength, natural armor, and a bull-rush charge, while the Frog Prince brings amphibious abilities, underwater vision, and powerful jumps. Jack can plant magical beanstalks, climb surfaces with vines, and deal extra damage to large foes, while Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella have graceful movement and dance-related abilities, alongside limits involving rest, armor, or the time of day. These races also come with trade-offs, such as the Mermaid’s need for water, the Wolf’s vulnerability to daylight, the Minotaur’s weakness in open areas, and Jack’s greater fall damage and hunger.
