    Medieval Origins Revival is an addon for Origins that adds playable origins drawing on medieval fantasy and mythology, while reworking the original Medieval Origins to improve mod support, compatibility, gameplay clarity, accessibility, and balance. Its roster includes Alfiq, Arachnae, Banshee, Dwarf, Fae, Goblin, Gorgon, High Elf, Incubus, Moon Elf, Ogre, Pixie, Plague Victim, Revenant, Siren, Valkyrie, Wood Elf, and Yeti. These origins have distinct abilities and trade-offs: Alfiq can climb walls and pounce, Dwarves can fit through one-block tunnels, Gorgons can petrify targets with their gaze, and Sirens can pacify hostile mobs with their song. Other examples include Pixies with resource-limited flight and small stature, Wood Elves who gain improved vision while crouching under foliage, and Revenants who raise undead summons, equip them with armor, and command them to follow, teleport, or sit. The addon also integrates with Mermod, Icarus, Spell Power Attributes, Thermoo-based mods such as Frostiful and Scorchful, and Ice and Fire, and supports gear from mods including Mythic Metals, MC Dungeons Weapons, Simply Swords, and the RPG Series.
