    About

    Fishing Expansion turns fishing into an ocean-focused progression path, with its new loot, enchantments, maps, boss and underwater armor obtained through fishing. Its custom rod enchantments include Ender Hook, which teleports the player to where the rod lands, Hooked Strike, which lets rods deal damage, and Sea Lure and Treasure Hunter, enhanced alternatives to Lure and Luck of the Sea. Fishing can also hook and pull marine mobs toward the player, including drowned, guardians, squids and turtles, as well as yield special fish that may grant effects such as Resistance or Haste. Rare catches include shipwreck Barrel Ships containing supplies and nautical loot, and exploration maps that lead to Ocean Monuments, Ruined Portals, Shipwrecks, Underwater Ruins and boats. A rare Heart of the Elder Drowned can be used with a Prismarine Brick altar and water to summon the boss; defeating it rewards experience and a unique trident enchantment. Fishing can also uncover the Turtle Armor set, which grants Conduit Power while swimming and Resistance I, and is designed for underwater exploration and combat.
