    About

    Flan's Mod NPC Vehicles integrates Flan's Mod with Custom NPC+, letting players create editable NPCs represented by vehicles such as tanks, cars and aircraft, as well as equip NPCs with Flan weapons and armor. Its vehicle models are supplied by the integration itself, while using Flan equipment and vehicle items requires a compatible Flan's Mod implementation and the relevant content packs. NPC inventory controls can import melee, ranged, armor and vehicle statistics once; the imported values remain editable through Custom NPC's usual menus rather than being continually overwritten. Vehicle NPCs can use Flan sounds and animations, including gunfire and reload animations, while supported armor follows Custom NPC body and puppet animations. In combat, vehicle bodies and turrets turn gradually, and an NPC waits for its weapon to align before firing; the vehicle can keep facing its direction of travel while its turret aims at a target elsewhere. Configuration can allow combat ranges up to 512 blocks, with combat, entity-view and navigation ranges controlled separately; compatible Flan ammunition can also use ballistic prediction for moving targets. Optional terrain profiles let NPCs follow ground, watercraft or amphibious movement rules, and ground vehicles can use a driving controller with acceleration, braking, gradual steering and wider turns at speed. Per-NPC line-of-sight settings can permit detection through eligible blocks, or allow both detection and Flan projectile fire through them, subject to configurable vision and firing limits.
