An open world with events and summonable villains to explore as Marvel characters.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 11 graded mods, 5 are graded A or B, 1 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 3 months ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Avengers Initiative Marvel City is a free-roam Marvel modpack that lets players explore a city as superheroes and defend it from villain threats. The map builds on the City of Tranton and adds landmarks including Avengers Tower, the Baxter Building, the Daily Bugle, Oscorp, the X-Mansion, the Statue of Liberty, the Helicarrier, and the Sanctum Sanctorum. NPCs populate the city, and players can patrol its streets, take on events and bosses, summon villains, and seek help from allies facing other threats. Experience and tutridium earned through play unlock more superheroes, while the updated heropack includes over 30 characters.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 16 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 11 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 11 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 6 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
5 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
