Foolish is an exploration and side-quest mod that adds more than 100 animated mobs, new biomes and structures across the vanilla dimensions, gimmicky weapons, and the Stellar Hollow, a dimension of varied landscapes that parallel and exaggerate parts of the Overworld. The Hollow’s eight biomes range from living-crystal Sacilite Bloom and the red Scarlet Fields to the electrically charged Storm Jungle, irradiated Wasteland, lush Overgrowth, hostile Miserable Mire, fiery Ashen Woods, and time-bending Sands of Time; the Somber Forest represents the dimension’s dead remains. Exploration brings distinct creature encounters and ways to interact with them: players can tame Tremors as gliding battle mounts, ride saddle-free Sanguines, and pacify and ride Redwoods with their favored food, while other inhabitants include paralyzing Buzzkets, flying Torrent mounts, and aggressive Scarlants. The dimension’s progression begins by finding an Explorer’s Cabin for a Stellar Lighter and using it to open a portal; across the biomes, players can defeat bosses guarding eight gemstone types and use the gemstones to craft weapons with unique abilities. Its structures include dungeon-style additions beyond the Hollow, such as Nether and End dungeons, as well as landmarks like the Storm Jungle’s Thunder Tower, the Ashen Temple, and the Archaic Library in the Sands of Time. Weapons span specialized tools such as the Resonator for crowd control, the Galepiercer for burst damage and temporary flight, and Gaia for area control and healing; advanced endgame weapons have defined movesets, passive effects, multiple active abilities, and do not break.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 549 blocks, 421 items, 160 entities, 27 biomes, 1 dimension, 40 structures, 529 recipes, 72 advancements, 13 loot tables, 459 sounds and 4 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
