Makes the void hate you a little less (and vice-versa). Fall down and come back out on top.
No points lost.
71 of the 71 points that apply = 100 out of 100.
Forgiving Void saves entities from being killed by the void by sending them back above the world, where they fall from the sky instead of dying immediately. By default, players return above their last grounded position, so falling through the void does not let them travel horizontally across large gaps. The return fall can apply configurable status effects, with strong, short-lived blindness as the default, and the default landing damage is severe enough that a full-health player can survive while a weakened one may die. Configuration lets servers and players adjust the return height, landing-damage mode, whether the fall can be fatal, eligible entities, and the dimensions where the behavior applies. Advanced Shogi rules can set different return heights by dimension and respond to repeated falls before the entity lands. Loyalty tridents can also be included in the rescue behavior when enabled, though this option is not supported on Forge.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
