    About

    FTB Ultimine Addition is an add-on that makes vein mining an earned skill rather than an ability available from the start, giving players mining challenges and a tiered path to unlock Ultimine. Players craft a Skills Record to track progress with Mining Skill Cards for pickaxes, axes, shovels and hoes, then complete tool-specific goals such as breaking ores, stripping logs, flattening paths or tilling soil to advance from Unlearned through Novice, Apprentice and Adept to Mastered. Each completed tier grants a Shape Certificate that teaches a chosen Ultimine shape for that tool; mastering all four built-in cards lets players craft a Miner Certificate and permanently unlock every shape, while Mine-Go Juice offers a temporary way to Ultimine with its tool. The Skills Record displays challenge details and progress, supports pinning goals to the HUD and rerolling an unstarted challenge, and comes in 16 dyeable editions with distinct motifs, animated backgrounds and HUD colors. Players can undo recent Ultimine operations by previewing the blocks as ghosts and confirming their restoration, with drops and experience taken back to prevent duplication. The mod also offers optional tool perks, prestige bonuses for restarting mastered cards, shared daily or weekly challenges, and a Shape Designer for creating and sharing custom shapes. For modpacks, data packs can define or change challenges, add card types for other tools such as hammers or shears, introduce Ultimine shapes and rewards, and connect player progress to functions or KubeJS events; server settings sync to players and can be changed live.
