Haven: Veni de Nova is a challenging adventure modpack built around more than 3,300 quests that guide players through its extensive collection of mods. Its progression combines technology and automation from Create, Mekanism, Refined Storage and Applied Energistics 2 with magic systems such as Blood Magic, Ars Nouveau, Feywild and Tinkers’ Construct. Exploration brings dungeons, a biome overhaul and more than 200 monsters and animals, including dragons, wyverns and serpents that players can tame and ride. The pack also includes magical spells and equipment, a revised fishing system, custom recipes and immersive multiplayer voice chat. Additional questlines cover systems including Applied Energistics 2 and Draconic Evolution, while challenge quests feature encounters such as the Draconic Guardian and Queen Bee.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 19 Mar 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 16 Mar 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 479 of its 484 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 472 of its 477 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 38 of the 394 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
83 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
