About
Gobber adds ores and high-end gear to Minecraft, along with special items that provide convenience perks and other abilities. Its three ores generate across the Overworld, Nether, and End, with a deepslate variant in the Overworld; mining them follows a progression from Netherite tools to Gobber and Nether Gobber picks. The mod includes three tiers of weapons and tools beyond diamond level, plus bows, tree-felling axes, 3×3 hammers and excavators, and paxels, including one that places torches when used. Four armor sets offer perks such as auto-feeding, water breathing, fire protection, and fall-damage protection, while End Armor has a built-in glider; these perks are disabled by default and can be enabled in the configuration. Three levels of rings grant abilities including item attraction, mass mining, crop and tree growth, repair, night vision, protection from negative effects, Ender Chest access, and teleportation; other examples include floating and stealth from mobs. Additional gear includes staffs, medallions for effects such as changing step height, Gobber-infused foods, and a sword that fires arrows when used with a right-click. A Gobber Lucky Block also appears during world generation and can yield a range of useful drops.
