GregTech CEu Modern ports GregTech Community Edition Unofficial to modern Minecraft, bringing its technology-focused machinery and processing systems to newer game environments. Players mine ore veins across the Overworld, Nether, and End, finding resources such as iron, copper, tin, diamonds, redstone, bauxite, naquadah, and platinum alongside materials including sulfur, salt, and quartz. These resources feed a progression of steam and electric machines, from single-block processors to large multiblock installations that handle more demanding or higher-volume work; electric machines run recipes to produce or convert items and fluids, while higher-voltage machines can overclock lower-tier recipes for faster, more energy-intensive processing. Power comes from fuel-burning generators, including steam turbines, gas turbines, and combustion engines, with multiblock generators taking over from single-block options at the EV tier and above. Batteries and battery buffers store and distribute energy, while the large Power Substation multiblock centralizes storage and power transfer across different voltage tiers. Machine automation includes configurable item and fluid output, multiblock input and output buses and hatches, and tools such as distinct or painted buses and filtered fluid hatches to separate recipe inputs and outputs. Steam machinery adds a physical layout concern: its exhaust faces must open to the air, where they release steam when recipes finish and can injure nearby players. For creators extending the mod, its Java API and KubeJS integration support making machines, recipes, materials, and other GregTech content.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
One weak clue: a branch is named like those Claude Code creates. It does not show that the tool was used.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 10 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 6 points.
