A modpack with magic, technology, quests, and dragons to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 504 graded mods, 387 are graded A or B, 97 C and 20 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Ice and Fire Magic is a techno-magic modpack that brings together more than 181 mods, modified recipes and configurations, and quests to help players explore its interconnected systems. Its core content includes Ice and Fire, Mystical Agriculture, Thermal Expansion, TConstruct, and Industrial Foregoing, alongside resource gathering and cultivation, reactor and turbine construction with Extreme Reactors, storage systems such as Applied Energistics 2 and Refined Storage, and automated farms. The gallery also shows caves, large dragon caves, structures, a simple house on a plain, custom items, a multiblock factory, and a molecular transformer.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 4 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 4 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 504 of its 506 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 503 of its 505 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 26 of the 413 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
92 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
