About
Grue brings the monster from the Zork games into Minecraft as a threat that appears near players in darkness, where lingering can invite more Grues; it is effectively impossible to kill and deals devastating damage, but retreats in a burst of smoke when the light rises above its threshold. Configuration options let players adjust the Grue’s spawning light range, eligible biomes and moon phases, whether only one can spawn at a time, and settings for individual dimensions; Wimp Mode reduces its damage and removes its armor-piercing effect.
