    About

    Haunted Harvest brings seasonal Halloween activities and food to villages, with configurable timing that can make its features active year-round or only during selected periods. At night, masked baby villagers go door to door for candy; adults may give them candy or coal, be frightened away, or face an egg prank, while encounters with witches can yield a rotten or rare grim apple. During the day, children eat collected candy to heal and grow a little, and grim apples can instead have negative effects or begin turning a child into a witch. Villagers also decorate their villages with pumpkins during the Halloween period, which baby villagers carve and light at night; players can carve pumpkins by hand, refine their designs, wax them, and turn them into jack-o'-lanterns. The mod adds corn, a rare three-block crop found in abandoned farms, which can be used for popcorn and candy corn or popped in a paper bag over a campfire; Farmer’s Delight integration also adds succotash. Other additions include rotten apples, which can drop from oak and dark oak leaves, splattered eggs, and support for Serene Seasons and Autumnity.
