HBM's Nuclear Tech Modernized is a from-scratch reworking of HBM's Nuclear Tech, combining radiation hazards, industrial machinery, advanced equipment and nuclear weapons. Its industrial content includes multiblock assembly machines and presses, wood-burning generators, electrical generators, accumulators and cables, alongside ores, radioactive materials such as uranium and plutonium, and advanced alloys. Radiation accumulates from the environment and radioactive items, spreads between chunks and fades over time, can cause effects ranging from confusion and weakness to death, and at high levels turns grass and foliage into dead variants. Players can monitor exposure with a Geiger counter that provides sound and a HUD indicator or with a simpler dosimeter, and use perk-modified armor and radiation-protective gear to face hazardous areas. Tools include vein mining, while the weapons roster includes grenades and weapons made from different materials. Explosions can produce craters shaped in part by the blast resistance of blocks, with radiation, fallout and visual effects; nuclear blasts can also leave mobs as skeletons. The mod also features ballistic missiles launched from pads, target-designation tools and radar tracking, with radar-linked anti-ballistic missiles that can intercept incoming threats. Its power armor sets include the T-51b, AJR, DNT and Bismuth, with abilities such as thermal vision, a built-in Geiger counter and a VATS-style display of mob health. The project remains in pre-alpha, with incomplete features and missing recipes, so its systems and available content are still developing.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
The author declares on Modrinth that it shows advertisements.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
