Hero of the Village Plus makes defending a village raid more rewarding by turning the Hero of the Village effect into a progression-based way to unlock valuable villager trades and improve some existing ones. Master-level villagers reveal up to five exclusive trades, with one tier unlocked per level of the effect; the offers have a green background and are fixed to each villager rather than rerolled when its menu is reopened. The rewards span professions: armorers offer diamond armor and Netherite upgrades; farmers and butchers trade large quantities of food, including golden apples; cartographers offer tools such as spyglasses and recovery compasses; and clerics provide brewing ingredients and potions. Other examples include axolotl and tadpole buckets from fishermen, enchanted bows and crossbows from fletchers, wolf armor and Netherite horse armor from leatherworkers, and enchanted diamond tools or weapons from toolsmiths and weaponsmiths. Some equipment comes with set enchantments: for example, diamond swords include a powerful suite of enchantments, while diamond tools and fishing rods are guaranteed Mending and Unbreaking alongside other specified enchantments. The mod also increases the quantity received from eligible vanilla trades involving exactly one emerald, with the bonus scaling according to the effect level and configuration. In-game configuration lets players adjust the bonus yields or disable them while keeping the exclusive trades.
