    About

    It's Harder Early makes the opening of survival more demanding by requiring players to gather sticks from leaves, find flint, and collect plant fiber to make plant string before crafting a flint axe and chopping their first tree. The mod adds plant fiber, plant string, mud balls, flint knives and axes, reinforced sticks, and raw iron nuggets; iron ore yields four to seven nuggets, which can be combined in groups of nine to make raw iron. Axes are also required to break planks, while stone and some ores can drop pebbles, and mud balls can be crafted into mud or back again. The flint knife is compatible with Farmer's Delight, and the mod lists Dynamic Trees, Reforged, Biomes O' Plenty, and Oh The Biomes We've Gone as compatible mods.
