About
Jem's Fueled Campfires makes campfires consume fuel to stay lit, starting with a small amount of fuel by default and requiring more fuel to be added after they go out. Use a Fire Poker to check a campfire's remaining burn time and whether it is a bonfire or eternal; server settings can also allow checking with an empty hand while sneaking and right-clicking. Fuel amounts, burn rates, and eligible fuel items can be configured, including custom fuel values for specified items or tags, and regular and soul campfires can have separate settings. Campfires can be made eternal so they burn without consuming fuel, while rain can drain fuel or extinguish fires depending on configuration; structure-generated campfires are eternal by default and protected from rain. When enabled, overfueled campfires become bonfires that burn fuel faster, cook food faster, and can send flames and embers up to two blocks away; ordinary fires can also be configured to spread to nearby flammable blocks. The mod supports Farmer's Delight stoves, with fuel detection for skillets and pots, and offers optional dimming as fuel runs low, though that lighting feature is described as potentially buggy.
