About
JJ Skill adds an MMORPG-style skill system to Minecraft, with more than 30 skills for combat against players and mobs as well as farming. Players earn a separate Red Experience through familiar activities such as killing mobs, smelting, and fishing, then spend it to raise skills up to level 10; dungeon chests can also contain Bottles of Experience. A multiblock Press assigns learned skills to weapons and items, with up to three skills on each and a limit of three skill-bearing items in a player's inventory. The mod adds 15 weapons: swords, bows, battle axes, daggers, and brackets, with three of each type, which players obtain from mob drops. With a skill-bearing item in hand, players select a skill and activate it using the item's controls; skills consume mana, recover on cooldown, and mana regenerates over time. Configuration options let users adjust skill values by level, choose which mobs drop weapons, and add weapons or items that grant particular skills. Optional Better With Mods compatibility makes the Press require kinetic energy when that compatibility is enabled.
