About
[Let's Do] Candlelight adds fine-dining food, tableware, and social details to Minecraft, centered on preparing and sharing elaborate meals. Cook dishes in the Cooking Pot or Cooking Pan, using their recipe books to discover recipes; many meals use substantial resources but can be eaten in stages, with their appearance changing as they are consumed. Potion effects, and in some versions wine effects, can be infused into meals during cooking, while placing food on plates or bowls lets players eat from them for extra hunger and saturation. The mod also adds decorative dinnerware and table settings, a cosmetic cook's outfit, and writing tools such as notepaper, a typewriter, and envelopes for preparing letters and dinner invitations. New crops include tomatoes and broccoli, and wild roses also appear in the world; the documented crop biomes vary between versions.
