Loot Cities adds a zombie-apocalypse survival sandbox focused on scavenging, crafting, and exploring ruined cities, with a hand-tuned loot economy integrated into Lost Cities and other structures. Its improvised melee arsenal includes weapons such as baseball bats, nail bats, machetes, fire axes, sledgehammers, knives, shivs, and broken bottles; sweeping strikes let the fire axe and sledgehammer hit groups, while the sledgehammer can demolish stone and walls without dropping resources. At a workbench, players can modify melee weapons with upgrades for reach, knockback, damage, durability, bleeding, fire, or handling, and use field repairs for equipment; throwable Molotov cocktails spread fire. Survival supplies include medical items such as bandages, painkillers, epinephrine, and steroid needles, plus refillable water containers and purification tablets; food and morale items include energy drinks, trail mix, Slim Jims, and instant noodles. Gunshots, broken glass, and explosions attract infected, with gunshot noise based on TaC:Z's sound model; throwing nuts and bolts can distract wandering infected, but not those already pursuing the player. Infected populations persist by 64-by-64-block region: killing them reduces local numbers, which slowly recover over days, while Lost Cities' urban density affects how crowded an area becomes. Loot is curated for Lost Cities buildings, Big Lost City and Underground Bunker structures, Spore chests, and DYAirdrop crates; chests can also yield assembled lore books from more than 80 fragments, while treasure-hunt notes lead to named, pre-upgraded weapons and multi-step hunts across the map. TaC:Z firearms can appear with partially filled magazines, and vanilla villages, outposts, and temples are removed to keep the world consistent with its post-collapse setting. Optional modules add roaming survivor groups with varied aggression, seasonal difficulty through Ecliptic Seasons, and farming with scarce seeds, disabled bone meal, and infected drawn to growing crops.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Not checked yet
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
