    About

    ME Placement Tool is an Applied Energistics 2 add-on that connects its placement tools to an ME network through a Wireless Access Point, letting players place stored blocks, AE2 parts such as buses and panels, and fluids. The standard tool offers 18 configuration slots, JEI and REI integration for selecting items, a radial menu for quick switching, and automatic crafting requests when a selected item is not stored but can be crafted. It can also use AE2 Memory Cards and Mekanism Configuration Cards to configure devices as they are placed. The multiblock tool places 1, 8, 64, 256, or 1024 blocks or fluids at once, with smart expansion along surfaces of the same block type, a preview of the placement area, and support for undoing recent placements. For AE2 cabling, a dedicated tool places Glass, Covered, Smart, Dense Covered, or Dense Smart cables in straight lines, rectangular fills, or branching networks. Its dyeing system draws from available dye sources, while the Key of Spectrum upgrade enables cable placement in any of 17 colors without consuming dye.
