    About

    MiscTweaks is a lightweight collection of configurable gameplay and interface adjustments aimed at smoothing out common Minecraft annoyances. Server-side changes make creeper explosions drop every destroyed item, let cobwebs burn, reduce berry-bush damage and slowing when players wear leg or body armor or sneak, and have Elytra users start swimming when they enter water. The mod also prevents armor durability loss from Thorns and Soul Speed, speeds up mining obsidian-like blocks, keeps broken block drops from scattering horizontally while letting nearby crouching players pull them toward themselves, and allows any creeper-dropped music disc to appear in loot chests. Animals can find and eat nearby dropped food, and the mod includes changes to lodestones and saddle recipes and loot; an option disabled by default prevents shulkers from duplicating when struck by shulker bullets. Client-side options set brightness independently for each dimension, raise the hotbar slightly while supporting UI resource packs, and lower an offhand shield without hiding it; tweaks can be toggled and configured, with support for adding modded blocks or shields to relevant compatibility settings.
