Medieval MC is a medieval-fantasy adventure and exploration modpack built around a heavily customized collection of more than 300 mods. It reshapes the Overworld with Biomes O’ Plenty, Tectonic, and Nature’s Spirit, adding hundreds of dungeons and structures, including content from When Dungeons Arise, Adventure Dungeons, and Soaring Structures. Exploration extends into five additional dimensions, including the Aether, while quests, lore books, and discoveries such as the Ancient Trial Dungeon give players goals to pursue. Combat blends magic, archery, and other RPG systems, with challenging bosses, mythical mobs, powerful adventurers, skill trees, classes, origins, magical jewelry, legendary artifacts, and weapons. Players can reforge gear and select spells for their class, while enemies scale to provide an ongoing combat challenge. The pack also layers in survival elements such as thirst and temperature, alongside Waystones, JourneyMap, and a fantasy-medieval soundtrack. Built-in shader support and extensive mod integration round out the pack’s presentation and gameplay.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 4 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 11 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 498 of its 499 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
13 mods send something about you
We read the code of 443 of its 444 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 35 of the 386 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
58 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
