    About

    Mo' Creatures Extended continues and polishes the original creature mod, adding more than 80 animal and monster mobs, including aquatic creatures and insects, with some creatures available to tame and ride. It also restores older ideas and cut content, offers optional legacy models and textures, and includes a revamped Wyvern Lair dimension that is still in progress. Creatures have distinct interactions and behavior: many can be bred, birds, ducks, and turtles have baby forms, hunter mobs pursue different prey, and piranhas, anglerfish, and snakes are neutral rather than hostile to players. The mod updates spawning to use vanilla mechanics, improves creature AI and breeding, and provides configuration options for adjusting spawn behavior and disabling Fine Silver. It also rebalances drops, making hearts and eggs rarer, and adds integrations such as Thaumcraft aspects, recipes for Industrial Foregoing and Thermal Expansion, and armor or tool materials and traits for Construct's Armory and Tinkers' Construct.
