Mob Mash adds hostile and passive mobs with distinctive behaviors that make encounters with them part of exploring the world. At night, the light-seeking Mothman charges at players and can blind them, while desert Sandworms lie in wait, create sinkholes, and become hard to see when threatened. Reptomaniacs climb fences and steal health with their attacks, whereas Grizzly Bears prey on livestock and compete over food and territory. Crocoducks attack creatures they can swallow, lay eggs, and can be raised from hatchlings to hunt animals; Pirates steal items into an internal inventory, leaving their loot in a chest on the ocean floor when killed. Nomads travel in family groups and accept gold, while Ghosts are generally harmless spirits of players who died in painful ways. Slagmites flee from light and can fuse into a larger creature with their combined health and damage; their Nether variant sets opponents on fire. Other additions include the Doppelganger, which disguises itself as a player and causes havoc by damaging doors, opening fences, and starting fires, and independently roaming Cursed Tools that may attack creatures, players, or even one another. The Meme screams and runs about, but can imitate nearby animals' behavior, including grazing near sheep and becoming tame around wolves.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11 to 1.12.2.
Adds 1 block, 11 items, 2 mobs, 1 projectile, 13 other entities, 1 enchantment, 5 loot tables and 17 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 4 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
