More Overlays Updated is a client-side mod that brings back several NEI-style visual overlays to help players read spawn conditions, map chunk and region boundaries, and search items in open inventories. Its light overlay marks blocks where monsters can spawn at night with yellow Xs and blocks where they can always spawn with red Xs; it can also display light levels as numbers. The chunk-boundary overlay offers three display modes, progressing from colored lines at chunk corners and centers to a green edge grid, then to a grid outlining a whole region with its save-file name shown on screen. When JustEnoughItems is installed, double-clicking its search field filters items in the open inventory by blacking out non-matches, and the search can include custom-named items.

No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
7 of its files for recent versions are not checked yet.
12 of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 3 of its 22 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
Cursor is named in the ignore list of its repository.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
