Craft to Exile 2 is an exploration-focused modpack that reshapes Minecraft into a cooperative action-RPG, with Mine and Slash at its center drawing on Diablo and Path of Exile for character progression, loot, and customizable skills. Combat features dodge rolls, spells for warrior, archer, and mage playstyles, and randomized weapons, armor, and other equipment, alongside custom weapon types such as daggers, hammers, and spears. Support Gems modify skills, while Uniques and crafted Runewords offer build-defining equipment; crafting gear, food, potions, and scrolls is tied into the progression and Profession systems. A campaign of more than 250 quests introduces the pack’s systems and guides players through a level-based journey across the Overworld, Nether, Undergarden, Everbright and Everdawn, the End, and the Otherside. The pack adds custom mobs, bosses, structures, and terrain across its dimensions, with Overworld biomes from Oh The Biomes We've Gone and Terralith and structures from When Dungeons Arise, Structory, YUNG's mods, and Stalwart Dungeons; it also revisits the Nether and End with changes. At end game, players can tackle repeatable instanced Maps with specialized loot and bosses, shape their rewards through the Atlas system, and venture into the Twilight Forest. For players who prefer a home base, Minecraft Comes Alive: Reborn supports relationships with villagers and town management, including becoming mayor and defending the settlement from invaders. Cooking, farming, and fishing are integrated with progression: Mine and Slash foods grant stat bonuses and Profession experience, while eating a wider range of foods can increase health and, at diversity milestones, movement speed or block reach. Botania provides optional magi-tech that can support combat and improve Refined Storage setups, and the pack also includes custom textures, a custom main menu, and reworked music. The pack supports co-op, VR, and Steam Deck or controller play, and includes official North American and European servers.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 10 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 392 of its 406 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of 384 of its 396 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 27 of the 328 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
68 mods are not checked yet.
2 mods can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
