    About

    Naturalist Biomes Java is a free Java port of a Marketplace add-on that expands normal Overworld generation with six biomes: Maple Forest, Redwood Forest, Frozen Pine, Arid Grasslands, Wetlands, and Flower Fields. The biomes add around 180 blocks, including plants, soils, snow, stone, and decorative blocks, along with six complete wood sets: juniper, maple, olive, pine, redwood, and sequoia. Each wood set includes logs, stripped wood, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, trapdoors, signs, and other building pieces; distinctive log branches connect to logs and to one another. Biome details include juniper trees and dry grasses in the arid grasslands; colorful bushes and petunias in the flower fields; autumn-colored trees, bluebells, and tappable sappy maple logs in maple forests; and redwoods, clay soils, and large mushrooms in redwood forests. Frozen Pine features permafrost, frosty rock, icicles, underground ice spikes, and frozen plants, while the wetlands add peat-rich ground, cattails, marsh grass, waterlilies, and olive flowers. Wishing Wells and Igloos generate as structures, and Maple Forests also feature giant pumpkins that yield pumpkin chunks and seeds when broken normally.
