Netherrocks is a SimpleOres add-on that expands the Nether with six ores: Argonite, Ashstone, Dragonstone, Fyrite, Illumenite, and Malachite, each with its own properties and equipment. Their gear offers distinct trade-offs and effects: Argonite tools are highly enchantable, Ashstone tools are exceptionally fast, Dragonstone provides durable tools and strong armor, and Malachite gear combines high enchantability with poisonous swords and armor that lets you jump higher. Fyrite gear brings heat-themed utility, including armor that protects against fire and lava, a sword that ignites targets, and tools that can automatically smelt suitable mined or harvested items. Illumenite ore and its storage blocks glow, and its armor can grant a glowing effect; its sword provides night vision on attack and can hinder or briefly blind targets. The mod also adds Nether Furnace, Nether Smoker, and Nether Blast Furnace variants that run on selected Nether-themed fuels such as netherrack, blaze items, and Fyrite, and smelt or cook twice as fast as their regular counterparts. Metal and stone-brick textures, material-themed doors and pressure plates, and glowing Illumenite building pieces extend the ores’ uses beyond tools and armor. An optional peaceful-mode setting makes newly generated Ashstone Ore function as Ghast Ore, which can yield ghast tears when mined beside lava.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 59 blocks, 68 items, 182 recipes, 45 advancements and 5 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
