Randomised mob equipment, 10 new mobs, 3 new bosses, a new late game dimension and more
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Nice Mobs Remastered is a datapack that expands survival play with new mobs, unpredictable mob behavior and equipment, and a late-game dimension. Its ten new mobs include Boo, Ender Skeleton, Hedgehog, Hermit Crab, Ladybug, Nautilus, Penguin, Rat, Redstone Ghost and Snail, alongside three bosses: Amemasu, Celestial Watcher and Golden Guardian. The Astral Plane adds a new late-game destination, while the Celestial Temple is a place to summon the Celestial Watcher. Mobs can spawn in different rarities with different loot, and hostile mobs can receive randomized equipment; their size and speed can also vary. Other encounters and behaviors include Piglinauts and Pillagernauts appearing in the End, rain-spawned Zombie Riders, and baby-carrying mobs; Creepers can vary in fuse time and blast radius, while spiders may leave cobwebs when attacking. The pack also adds practical changes such as craftable horse armor, saddles, spawners and some spawn eggs, plus a display for tamed horse stats. It includes more than 25 advancements and is compatible with Terralith, Nullscape and Katter's Structures.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 biomes, 1 dimension, 23 structures, 45 recipes, 55 advancements and 31 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables and 1 tag.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
