About
OverlayLib is a rendering library that lets other mods create informative overlays, such as light-level displays, by drawing textures on some or all blocks with variable colors and textures. It handles rendering through custom shaders and pipelines, supports configurable overlay calculations, and caches overlay data to avoid recomputing it every frame. OverlayLib is intended for use by mod developers and does not add overlays when installed by itself.
