Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons is an exploration-focused modpack built around dungeon crawling, looting, combat, quests, and character and equipment progression rather than technology. Players can explore vanilla dungeons and structures as well as the Twilight Forest, the Aether, the Betweenlands, Atum’s deserts, the Beneath, Cavern II, Tropicraft, and Dimensional Doors, which lead to mazes, puzzles, dungeons, and traps. These destinations offer distinct adventures: the Aether has skybound exploration, labyrinths, bosses, and airships; the Betweenlands is a dangerous swamp realm; Atum features nine biomes, camels, scarabs, mummies, and more than 30 artifacts; and Tropicraft has islanders, volcanoes, and tropical wildlife. The pack adds a range of combat and magic options, including RPG-style spellcasting through found spell books, tameable ice and fire dragons, varied mobs, and weapons and tools with random modifiers. Quests provide challenges and guidance, award coins that can be traded for rewards, and sit alongside systems for leveling skills and equipment. Difficulty scales as players improve their gear and grow stronger, with mobs gaining health and strength in response. Backpacks with their own inventories support long expeditions, while airships provide a way to travel through the Aether.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 15 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Sep 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 247 of its 249 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 244 of its 246 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 14 of the 123 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
123 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
