OverLast is a Scape and Run: Parasites expansion that adds survival systems and a climactic challenge to encourage players to confront the parasite outbreak rather than simply avoid its harder stages. Its evolution HUD tracks the current phase, while a player-scaled natural evolution system advances the world over time so that later phases become accessible during play. Sanity responds to conditions such as darkness, parasite encounters, sleep, food and teamwork: high sanity helps resist Call of the Hive and fear, while low sanity can cause hallucinations and, at very low levels, attract Rupter and Moving Flesh. Courage is earned by killing parasites and supports defense through damage reduction, resistance to negative effects and, when courage and sanity are high enough, a last-resort effect that can prevent lethal damage. Seasonal changes alter the environment and combat: summer melts snow and ice, speeds crop growth and can make hot biomes dangerous, while winter slows crops and strengthens parasites; autumn brings temperature and leaf-color changes. Players can use a Node Detector and Block Purifier to seek out and attack parasite nodes, and infection and purification potions include a needle treatment for Assimilated Animals. For a final World Purification Battle, players build and activate a beacon-based multiblock structure, then defend it through four waves featuring Pure and Adapted parasites, Ancient parasites, and finally Assimilated parasites, including Assimilated Ender Dragons. The battle tracks deaths and time spent away from the defense point, and completing it with a positive score ends the encounter successfully and fixes evolution at phase -2, stopping further parasite spawns. The mod also adds Doomsday Radio broadcasts, a Parasites Killer enchantment, and a herb that suppresses Call of the Hive.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 19 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
