    About

    Scape and Run: Parasites adds hostile, parasite-themed creatures to Minecraft for players to fight, and they can appear in any biome. Its roster includes parasite victims such as Assimilated Cows, Sheep, Wolves, Humans and Big Spiders, alongside insect-like Buglins and Rupters, explosive Heavy and Flying Carriers, and territory-defending Vigilantes. Distinct creature branches add different threats: Reekers are fast and poisonous, Summoners call reinforcements, Yelloweyes fire poison missiles, Manducaters turn invisible, and Bolsters strengthen nearby parasites. Some parasites can learn from combat and evolve, while infected creatures that meet certain conditions can melt into Moving Flesh; two Moving Flesh can fuse and grow, eventually producing a primitive creature. When a parasite dies, it may summon a Beckon that brings in reinforcements, with its stage determining which parasites and how many it spawns. Beckons can also infest nearby blocks, which damage mobs outside the parasite faction; configuration options let players adjust Beckon spawning and aspects of block infestation. Parasites do not burn in daylight, and they can attack other hostile mobs.
