    About

    Pet Frogs and More! lets players show affection to friendly animals by petting them, expanding the original frog-petting interaction to dogs, cats, sheep, cows, sniffers, small slimes, and other pettable creatures. Petting usually works with a right-click and gives the animal a distinctive response, such as hearts and an animation; frogs croak, bees spin, camels flick their ears, goats bow, and allays twirl. To preserve existing interactions, some mobs use crouch-right-click to be petted: this applies to parrots, saddled striders, and rideable animals such as horses, mules, donkeys, llamas, and camels. Players can also pet with a configurable keybind and adjust settings such as cooldowns and ignored mobs through the configuration menu. Resource packs can customize animations and particle offsets, and can add animations for modded entities using the supported Blockbench JSON animation format.
