PotionCraft expands potion brewing with new effects, brewing recipes for some vanilla effects, a mixer for combining potions, and a bag for carrying them. Its effects include Freeze, which immobilizes a target, Freeze-AOE, which freezes nearby entities, Love, which affects animal mating and hostile mobs’ aggression, Arrow-Resistance, which deflects arrows, Lightning, which summons a bolt, and Fly, which grants creative-style flight. Other effects provide life-steal, knockback resistance, faster item use, faster nearby block processes, item and experience attraction, Depth-Strider-like movement, and Light-Step, which places a light block beneath the affected entity in low light. The mixer combines effects from its input potions from left to right, and its output can be mixed again; mixing too much can cause an explosion and spill the potion. When matching effects are combined, their amplifier and duration are adjusted according to their strengths, while catalysts can extend durations with a redstone block, make the potion splash with gunpowder or linger with dragon’s breath, or add apple effects; glowstone can sometimes raise a level-II effect to level III. The Potion-Bag holds up to 18 potions, while the Infuser grants the effects of a stored potion when held in the off hand, consuming its duration as it is worn. Potions can also be crafted onto swords, passing their effects to struck entities and using the effect duration to determine the sword’s hit points. Configuration lets players enable or disable the mod’s crafting and brewing recipes and adjust added-effect durations and some mixer settings.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
Adds 1 block: Potion-Mixer; 3 items: Infuser, Love-Potion and Potion-Bag; 5 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.14.4.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
