    Quality Food adds quality grades to food and selected food-related items such as crops, using item data rather than introducing new items. Quality can improve food’s nutrition and saturation, strengthen beneficial effects, and reduce or remove negative effects from eating it; quality can also influence the results of eligible crafting recipes. Animals can be fed food they normally eat to improve their potential, increasing the chances of quality loot, cow milk, and chicken eggs; offspring inherit part of their parents’ potential. Cooking quality ingredients in furnaces, cooking pots, and other supported cooking blocks builds a stored bonus that raises the chance of a quality result, with particles indicating the accumulated bonus. Crafting can preserve ingredient quality according to configurable recipe rules, while crop quality can be adjusted through configuration based on the farmland crops grow on. The mod includes compatibility handling for modded crafting, crop drops and growth, compacting recipes, and cooking systems, including Farmer’s Delight stove cooking, Vintage Delight fermenting jars and cheese molds, and Herbal Brews blocks.
