Society: Sunlit Cobblemon is a farming-and-commerce modpack that combines the seasonal farm-building and money-making progression of Society: Sunlit Valley with Cobblemon-specific gameplay, putting Pokémon to work alongside the player. Ship goods to earn coins, then spend them on items and farm upgrades; crops and fruit trees vary by season, while cooking and crafting artisan products such as cheese, wine, and beer can raise their value. Farm animals and Pokémon have affection-based husbandry, and more than 400 Pokémon have unique ranching drops; players can also raise over 20 breeds of Splendid Slimes, collect their Plorts, and combine slimes into Largos. Pokémon contribute through distinct work specialties: for example, Tinkaton can double ores, Sandslash can sift for fossils, and Arbok can be used to make Venomshine. The pack adds a trainer challenge in which players invite opponents to a Trainer Podium, advance through trainer tiers for cash and prizes, and face Sunlit League bosses to unlock rare rewards. Exploration includes the Skull Cavern, a custom cave dimension that resets each morning, where players break boulders and descend by ropes toward increasingly dangerous, valuable layers, and the Mystery Mine, where Pokémon can dig for ores and fossils. Sun Raid Statues can summon powerful rare Pokémon whose drops can be traded for resources, while ancient rituals and puzzles provide ways to seek legendary Pokémon and a Wormhole Generator lets players hunt Ultra Beasts. A quest book guides progression, and five custom skill trees offer perks for farming, mining, fishing, husbandry, and adventuring; farms of every type can be automated, though doing so may require substantial money and minerals. The pack supports multiplayer with ways to protect valuables and trade with other players.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 26 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 332 of its 333 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
The author declares on Modrinth that this modpack interacts with your system outside the game.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 322 of its 323 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 323 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
20 other mods show AI use only from after this release (26 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
