Quantum Things continues Random Things as a miscellaneous utility mod, preserving its open-ended design while providing new features, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements for use alongside other mods. Its practical tools include automated item collection, Fertilized Dirt for accelerating crop growth, Divining Rods for finding ores, and redstone utilities such as the Redstone Interface, Observer, Activator, and Remote. Spectre-themed content includes a personal Spectre Dimension, Spectre Coils for wireless energy transfer, Spectre Armor and tools, and Spectre building pieces such as stairs, fences, gates, and slabs. Other additions include the Biome Painter and Biome Capsule, which provide ways to work with biomes, plus a Quartz Divining Rod and configurable support for locating ores from mods including Silent's Gems, Galacticraft, Advent of Ascension, Aether, and DivineRPG. An in-game configuration menu lets players adjust selected plants, world features, and loot, as well as options for the Spectre Dimension, Spectre energy transfer, and other mechanics; Divining Rods can also be customized with different targets and ranges.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 100 blocks, 65 items, 6 entities, 240 recipes, 1 loot table and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Quantum Things in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
