Repurpose is an ease-of-life mod that reworks vanilla materials into alternative ways to obtain resources and build, while adding practical tools and redstone utilities. Its items include a bed compass that points toward a slept-in bed, lower-durability stone shears, fast wood-through-diamond swift blades, and sickles that clear grass, flowers, and leaves in a wide sweep without damaging crops. Fluffy Fabric, a snorkel, and a whetstone provide alternative routes to Silk Touch, Respiration I, and Sharpness I books, while enchantable scrolls can also be applied to items with an anvil and used to craft bookshelves. The Bag of Holding offers its own inventory and can collect drops there while open; it can also place a selected item from the off hand when aimed at a suitable block. Food storage recipes compress eggs, carrots, potatoes, and beetroots into bunches or egg clutches, then into crates or cartons, with recipes to unpack them again. Building additions include dirt and grass slabs, stairs, and walls, plus glowstone slabs; dirt forms can turn grassy when placed near grass blocks. For redstone contraptions, a configurable clock pulses power from selected sides, a scanner detects chosen categories of nearby entities, and a mini redstone block supplies a constant weaker signal. Enriched farmland grows vanilla crops without nearby water and at their fastest rate, while right-clicking a fully grown vanilla crop harvests it and replants seeds when available. Other changes make dirt and stone capable of yielding extra resources, add chances for leaves and tall grass to drop useful items, and allow coal ore to yield diamond shards that combine into diamonds. Additional recipes recover ingredients from undamaged vanilla armor and convert materials such as rotten flesh into leather, while reversible slab and stair recipes reclaim wood and stone blocks. The Step Assist boot enchantment has three levels, letting players automatically climb steps up to one, one-and-a-half, or two blocks high.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 7 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables and 2 recipes.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
