Ride a fast, flightless bird that can glide through the air.

Roost adds a rideable ancient bird intended to bridge the gap between horses and elytra, with fast movement on the ground and a short glide that lets it travel through the air before landing safely. Roosts can be found at Illager-built rider outposts, where one is held captive and an egg may also appear; the outposts spawn in plains, taigas, savannas, and hills. You can tame a Roost with grubs, which are collected by turning over flat stones in the Overworld, and command it to sit; eggs hatch into baby Roosts after being placed for 20 minutes. Roost Riders also appear in raids, wielding glaives, a strong weapon with a slow attack speed. Grub salad induces hatching in birds and birdlike animals, including Roosts, chickens, and sniffers, while a grub farm produces a steady supply of grubs. The mod also adds Roost treats that heal or improve a Roost’s speed, glide duration, or health, and a mirror for checking its stats. A command whistle can recall a Roost to a bound nest block, and opals found deep underground are used in crafting, including durable opaline glass and the Voidlite charm, which can rescue its holder from the void once. A Featherlite charm can prevent lethal fall damage, and the mod has partial Create compatibility through additional recipes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 8 blocks, 20 items, 2 mobs, 2 other entities, 1 structure, 1 enchantment, 23 recipes, 15 advancements, 3 loot tables, 9 sounds and 5 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
