A mod that makes Piglins more intelligent.
43.1 of the 61 points that apply = 71 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Sapience expands Piglin behavior with a reputation system shaped by helping them fight Wither enemies, giving gifts, and bartering, while harming Piglins or mining and opening chests without permission lowers their regard for you. As reputation rises, Piglins eventually tolerate you without gold armor and allow you to open chests and mine gold nearby; poor standing can stop them from bartering with you and ultimately make them attack on sight. Piglins seek out and eat food such as porkchops, which restores health, and can be fed directly; once they have eaten enough, adults can breed and babies can grow faster, while young Piglins also mature over time. They keep gold ingots and nuggets, can barter with nuggets or gold blocks for different likelihoods of common or rare loot, and use stored gold to craft and equip golden armor and weapons, sometimes sharing equipment with nearby Piglins. Piglins also accept gold items directly, signal acceptance or refusal with sounds, particles, and head-shaking, and may drop crimson fungus near Hoglins, which themselves eat breeding items and can breed or grow faster after eating. Config options adjust reputation values and the food threshold for breeding, while datapack tags and separate barter loot tables let creators customize eligible foods, barter items, and Piglin responses to other entities.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 4 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 10 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen., PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Networking and multiplayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: connections, the server list and what is sent between your game and a server..
Adds 2 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
