Slightly Flavoured is a focused, vanilla-style modpack that aims to make survival more challenging and rewarding while keeping its selection lightweight and balanced. Exploration brings new Overworld, Nether, and underwater environments, varied landscapes and caves, and dungeons to discover, with updates also adding features above ground and in the depths below. The world is more dangerous, with tougher mobs and threats, and progression offers difficult challenges alongside an expanded advancement guide to help players find their way through the added content. Movement gains wall-jumping, wall-sliding, and edge-grabbing, while a radial-menu toolbelt makes it easier to switch quickly between tools. The pack also includes quality-of-life improvements and is configured to work well with shaders.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 23 Dec 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 25 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 310 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 22 of the 275 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
35 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
