Scaling Feast adds progression to Minecraft’s hunger system, letting players increase their maximum hunger over the course of a world and gradually unlock the benefits of larger hunger reserves. Players can craft and eat Hearty Shanks to gain extra hunger, use Iron Apples to restore hunger gradually, and place a Hearty Feast, a meat-pie block that restores a percentage of maximum hunger with each slice. The mod also adds Exhausting Ore, found in hot or cold regions, which yields materials for items such as Exhausting Apples that refill hunger and saturation while reducing maximum hunger, and Exhausting Potatoes that lower hunger but can replace Nether Wart when brewing Awkward Potions. Its hunger mechanics include configurable starting hunger, exhaustion that rises while mining according to block-breaking time, and starvation penalties that can reduce maximum hunger; mobs can also be configured to damage food stats along with health. Enchantment examples include Gluttony, which increases the food value of meals, Fasting, which slows exhaustion, Famine, which drains a target’s hunger, and Eternal Feast, which restores hunger when its wearer kills an entity. Brewing adds effects such as Metabolism, which gradually restores hunger, Bloated, which grants temporary hunger reserves, and Deficiency, which drains food stats. A configurable HUD displays extra hunger, saturation, and maximum-hunger indicators using colored icons and outlines, with options to adjust the colors and information shown. Compatibility includes diet-based maximum-hunger changes through Spice of Life and Spice of Life: Carrot Edition, and Exhaustium can be used as a tinkering material with Tinkers’ Construct and Construct’s Armory.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 2 sounds: Hunger Decrease and Hunger Increase; 10 recipes and 8 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
