Tinkers' Construct is a tool-crafting and customization mod built around assembling tools from parts, then modifying, renaming, repairing, or recycling them; tools do not permanently break, so you can keep refining a design or turn it into something new. Part builders and tinker stations let you make parts from materials and assemble tools, while modifier workstations provide a way to customize them; different materials contribute their own traits. The mod also supports customizable armor, with modifiers that can improve defense or add utility such as greater durability or faster movement, as well as shields with adjustable blocking characteristics. For metalworking, the melter, alloyer, smeltery, and foundry process molten metals, which can be used to make tool parts; smelteries can also be automated. Exploration adds cobalt ore in the Nether, slime islands across the Overworld, Nether, and End with four slime colors, and deep underground slimy geodes. You can also encounter ancient tools as loot, including hybrid-functionality tools with distinctive traits that can still be modified like tools you build yourself.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 422 blocks, 332 items, 4 mobs, 9 projectiles, 2 other entities, 6 structures, 30 sounds and 4 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds, code history and pull requests and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Tinkers' Construct: their authors or Tinkers' Construct's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Tinkers' Construct, so you only need one.

In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 1 point.
