New plants and creatures bring more life to Nether biomes.

Shret Nether expands the Nether with biome-specific plants, materials, terrain details, and creatures. In the Warped Forest, a new mushroom has a useful purpose and a new light source joins the foliage, while the breedable Weeping Stroller offers a relatively peaceful source of food and leather. The Crimson Forest gains three mushrooms and new ground foliage: the mushrooms can be used to make stew, torches, and poisonous arrows, and the fast Leechound heals with each bite and drops skin that can be turned into leather. Nether Wastes adds a fuel-producing fiery mushroom, Nether Fossil ore that can be used for bone meal, and pockets of blackstone above lava level, along with the flying Red Jawber, whose wing membrane can substitute for feathers when crafting arrows. Basalt Deltas gain ash that can be layered on blocks, and Torters can climb basalt pillars to reach the player. In the Soul Sand Valley, Deathmist covers lava and damages players, with an option to disable it in the configuration, while the fast, massive Soulbeast charges at players and can be fought with armor, a shield, or a bow. Explosions that break netherrack beneath lava can also cause Lava Golems to spawn.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
