Folklore-inspired spirits roam the wild, dropping items and gear.

Skin And Bones adds four folklore-inspired spirits, along with their own drops, items, blocks, armor, and naturally generating structures. Wendigos appear mainly in Taiga biomes, often in packs, while the larger Antlered Wendigo inhabits dens in Taiga and Old Growth Pine biomes. Skinwalkers roam temperate biomes and, after killing an animal, can take the form of cats, chickens, cows, llamas, foxes, pigs, wolves, polar bears, or villagers. The fourth creature, the Cursed Villager, can be bartered with while the player bears the Wendigo’s Curse, exchanging raw foods and creature remains for items such as bones, wool, feathers, and Wendigo parts. The mod’s crafting materials come from sources such as Malignant Roots, Malicious Bulbs, and the spirits themselves, and are used to make equipment including Bone Snappers, a throwable Bulb Bola that inflicts slowness and glow, and a Wendigo Skull that grants power at the cost of hunger. Its survival mechanics include Wendigo’s Curse, contracted by eating Malicious Ripped Flesh and bringing extreme hunger alongside physical benefits; eating more while cursed causes damage, and the curse can prove fatal when it ends. Other distinctive rewards include a Frozen Heart Necklace that enables regeneration in powdered snow and Petrified Wendigo Flesh, which freezes whoever eats it and can be brewed into a potion of freeze.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 33 blocks, 34 items, 16 mobs, 23 recipes, 16 advancements, 3 loot tables and 6 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
